Pro-Tip: If your holding tanks have cracked fittings or the tank itself has cracked, don’t try to fix it yourself. Trying to fix plastic tanks with epoxy is the most common DIY fix we see for tanks. This is just putting a band-aid on the issue and adding to the final cost for repairs. Southwest RV can plastic-weld new fittings and patch plastic tanks. Repairing plastic tanks is often more cost-effective and preferable to purchasing a new one, as it is often impossible to find an exact replacement, requiring you to replumb.
Southwest RV’s Parts Department is stocked with many common repair parts, making it easy to get the job done quickly and efficiently. We also sell a variety of tank chemicals and sanitizers necessary for any RVer. Dump hoses, tank treatments, deodorizers, water pumps and specialty tissue are all items you’ll find in our parts department. We are familiar with many fresh water and sanitation brands such as Thetford, Sealand, Shurflo, Phoenix, and many more.
We recommend all our customers to try Happy Campers Tank chemical. Happy Campers is environmentally friendly, works in all temperatures, eliminates odors, liquefies waste and even dissolves 2-ply toilet tissue. You can also use this one chemical in your black and grey tanks. Gray water also needs to be treated due to the soak scum, skin and hair that can build up in your tanks and p-traps. Once you try Happy Campers you’ll never go back to your old toilet chemicals again!
And don’t forget about our dump station and propane fill station! Our dump station and propane fill station can be used from 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. The use of the dump station is a $10.00 fee.
